MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE Star Rebecca Ferguson Is Set To Join The Cast Of THE SHINING Sequel DOCTOR SLEEP
It looks like Doctor Sleep has found a co-star for Ewan McGregor, as they recruit Mission: Impossible's Rebecca Ferguson as an unknown character in the adaptation of Stephen King's sequel to The Shining.
Earlier this month we learned that Ewan McGregor was set to join the cast of Doctor Sleep as an adult Danny Torrance, and now a new report reveals the Star Wars actor will be joined by one of the stars of the Mission: Impossible franchise.
According to Variety, Rebecca Ferguson will board the film based on the sequel to Stephen King’s novel The Shining. It’s unknown what character Ferguson could be playing but taking into consideration a few of the female characters from the book into account, we can make a few guesses.
It’s possible the actress may portray main antagonist Rose the Hat, who is targeting the young child Danny sets out to rescue, or she may be taking on the role of Danny’s half-sister Lucy Stone, mother of the child Abra.
