New Image From The IT Reboot Reveals Pennywise The Clown In All His Terrifying Glory
We caught a glimpse of Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård's creepy take on Pennywise from the new IT movie already, but now the evil supernatural creature has been unveiled in full. Pleasant dreams!
Following a debut image of Pennywise from Andy Muschietti's big-screen take on Stephen King's IT, we have this larger look at the nightmarish clown played by Bill Skarsgård. This pic gives us a much better idea of the character's appearance, revealing a massive dome of a forehead and a glimpse of his yellow fangs.
Apparently his costume combines elements of Medieval, Renaissance, Elizabethan, and Victorian era styles, to represent how long the immortal creature has walked/stalked the earth.
Tim Curry's version of Pennywise initially appeared as a colourful, friendly clown to lure in his young prey, but this darker incarnation will "camouflage himself" and strike from the shadows.

IT is set to open in U.S. theaters on September 8th, 2017. What do you think of this new version of Pennywise?
