I'm not bitching. It's a valid argument to say since this site is called COMICBOOKMOVIE.COM, and this movie has absolutely nothing to do with comic books or movies about comic books. But then again, you don't know very much about valid arguments.

I still don't think news regarding the movie should be posted. The comic is based off the movie, not vice versa.

It's just not necessary IMO. Similar to Avatar. The only thing that posting news about that movie has gotten us is a bunch of arguments between those who have doubts about the movie, and those who believe it will be the greatest movie ever made.

Tyler - But by that argument then we can't put anything up about Transformers...because they were not a comic book first? If you don't wanna read about it, just don't read about it. This movie doesn't interest me a ton, but I get that people on the site are interested in it.

I'm not saying you can put up anything about Transformers. It wouldn't bother me at all if that happened. I wouldn't really care.

But I think this is a bit different of an argument than Transformers, you have to admit that.

Transformers was a cartoon then a comic as was GI Joe. But Terminator, Aliens, Predator, Robocop, Star Trek etc..all movies before they were comics. Just because your not interested in this movie in particular is no reason to make an issue of it being on the site.

Well, they are different kinds. But same deal for Star Wars or Star Trek. They attracted the comic book audience enough that they got their own comics. It's just something that shares an audience. I'm with you that this movie doesn't interest either one of us, but we both looked at it anyways, right?

And also...NO to Megan Fox as anything to do with Batman ever. Haha

Tyler - And technically Transformers were TOYS that became a cartoon to sell them, then became a comic book...so they had to go through 2 other forms before being comics! I know where you're coming from, but it's just not a huge deal man.

I see your point in some ways too though. The likes of Avatar really has no comic connections. But its just getting coverage because of the massive hype and supposed reinventing of Sci Fi cinema, which is a big part of CBms. Sometimes these things get a pass.

This news is relevant because Megan Fox was in Transformers. Our readers have interest in what Miss Fox does. CBM is expanding the categories to accommodate the growing amount of readers that are visiting our site. We will never make everyone happy. The Comics to movie theme will never go away but we are also trying to accommodate those who have other interests in the movies that stars or directors of CBM's are attached to. Just like Ror posted, since there is a comic book now makes it relevant in every way. Haters beware, if you don't like what we post voice your concern about the subject not about the person who posted it. It's childish and it immediately marks U a Hater. And Haters suck to have around, they eventually leave but are a pain in the ass to deal with while they think they are different from everyone else and or making there point.

I've been around. On holidays right now for a couple of weeks and just chilling. Haven't been too vocal on here lately. Hey, I saw Joe, it wasn't all that bad. My 9yr old loved (that's all that matters lol) I can tell you that I liked it a hell of a lot more than D9.
