The fourth season of True Blood will comprise 12 episodes, and will premiere on June 26, 2011. It will be loosely based on the fourth novel in The Southern Vampire Mysteries series, "Dead to the World".

looking forward to the 4th season.
true blood and game of thrones are both awesome shows.
on another note, i think hbo or showtime would be a great network to have a comic book series being they can usually pump alot of money into their productions.

True blood is the shit! Although I have to agree with Marvel72. Both of their characters are kinda annoying. Love all the blood and boobs though!

@kookevin3 - Best HBO show ever? Ever? ( The Wire, Entourage, Sopranos, Big Love... ) It is really good though. But the second season was SHITE!!

2nd season did suck. But third kicked ass and we'll see what happens.

I think the 2nd season was the best.The 3rd season had a lot of good parts,but the whole fairy thing just turned me off.And I agree with other people,Sookie is getting really annoying.I want more of Evan Rachel Wood,she is pretty hot.I wish they would go back to the dark tone of the 2nd season.The whole demon thing is really scary to me.I hope they make the 4th season better,because I'm actually liking The Vampire Diaries a little bit more than TB,mainly because of the dark tone & increased violence that TVD has!!!
