On the heels of a batch of very positive reviews (the movie sits at 85% on Rotten Tomatoes), Paramount has released a final trailer for Pet Sematary, and this is arguably our creepiest look at the new Stephen King adaptation yet.

The trailer begins with an eerie scene, as Louis Creed gives his newly resurrected daughter Ellie a bath and uncovers the horrifying reason why he'shaving trouble brushing her hair. From there, we get a flashback to Ellie's death, as well as some teasing glimpses of Church, Zelda and the carnage that's unleashed because of the good doctor's decision to pay a visit to the mysterious burial ground of the title.

Check out the new trailer below, and let us know what you think in the comments.

“Based on the novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed, who, after relocating with his wife Rachel and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”

Pet Sematary is set for release on April 5.

Did they leave anything for the actual movie?
Waiting for The Talisman, though. Hope they don't [frick] that one up.

I refuse to watch this trailer for this movie just so they could throw spoilers out. I'm anycase I'm having a hard time choosing between this and Shazam this week. Normally the choice would be easy but I spent the beginning of this year reading the book as prep.
