Paramount has debuted a new featurette for the fifth instalment in the Scream franchise (simply titled "Scream"), and it spotlights interviews with several main cast members along with some footage of Ghostface stalking a new generation of victims.

There's been a lot of debate about the identity of this latest incarnation of the masked killer, with some speculating that it might even turn out to be one of our central protagonists this time. Could Dewey Riley (David Arquette) or Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) really betray Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) after everything they've been through together? Is it possible Sid herself finally snaps and dons the visage that's plagued her for most of her life? At the end of the day, "it's always someone you know."

Check out the featurette below along with Total Film's newsstand and subscribers only covers.

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

Paramount Pictures teamed with Spyglass Media to co-produce and distribute Scream, which has Ready or Not duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett on board to direct. James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick are co-writing the screenplay. Producers for the film are Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak, with Kevin Williamson executive producing.

Scream slices its way into theaters next January.
