There have been a couple of low-budget attempts to cash in on the myth of the Slender Man over the years, but the lanky supernatural entity will finally make his way to the big screen this year for Sony Pictures and director Sylvan White's (The Losers) horror feature.
The film is set to hit theaters on May 18, and the first trailer has just been released. Despite a slight feeling of deja vu (probably inevitable when your monster has been a meme for almost 10 years), there are a few creepy shots here and it looks like it might be atmospheric enough.
Slender Man stars Jaz Sinclair (Paper Towns), Joey King (The Conjuring and Wish Upon), Julia Goldani Telles (Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life), Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil) and Alex Fitzalan. Check out the teaser and poster below, and let us know what you think.
