Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a case in Chicago, where they discover that various mafia-esque monster families are, unknown to humans, running the underbelly of Chicago. One is a family of shapeshifters run by Margo Lassiter (guest stars Danielle Savre), whose leadership is thrown into question when her brother David (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) returns home. The other reigning family in town is made up of werewolves, lead by Julian Duval (guest star Sean Faris). While in Chicago, Sam and Dean meet Ennis (guest star Lucien Laviscount), a man with a personal vendetta against the monsters. The Winchesters warn Ennis about heading into the hunter lifestyle, but Ennis refuses to listen and starts down a dangerous path. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb.

Stars: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Sean Faris, Emily Bruhn, Nathaniel Buzolic, Bryce Johnson and Lucien Laviscount.

Created by Eric Kripke.

LEEE777 - Airs next Tuesday 9.8c, 29 April on the CW Network and I for one cannot wait, how about you?.

I think I would have preferred a spinoff with the hunter kids, the Rabbi and his Golem, or with Charlie in Oz.

I still remember Dean's epic line about Robert Singer from the episode in which they travelled to our reality, "What kind of douche names a character after himself?"

Not 100% on a spin off, hope it's good. Love Supernatural "Look at me BITCH!" LOL

I'd also would have preferred the Rabi and his Golem. I was sad to see that episode end. The hunter kids would have been easier since it would deal with the teen angst CW loves so much.

Supernatural is still one of the best series EVER on television. It's completely underrated.

KINDA LIKE WHEN THEY SPUN OFF "THE ORIGINALS" FROM VAMPIRE DIARIES BUT ITS SUPERNATURAL...HUNTER KIDS WOULDA BEEN COOL. HUNTER KIDS BUILT UP WITH MAYBE A VAMPIRE A WEREWOLF A HUMAN A WITCH AN AN ANGEL..THAT WOULD BE COOL...FRIGG'N MONSTER SQUAD

@Gunsmith Not sure if it's the energy of you typing in all caps but that Monster Squad idea sounds pretty cool.

I love the show, but I hate when they start a great story arc and then have way too many filler episodes

Uggh. Sounds too melodramatic and predictable. Like Boardwalk Empire with monsters. I frankly would have even preferred if they'd said last nights episode was a backdoor pilot.e

@GUNSMITH- sounds awesome. But I'm thinking maybe a Vampire girl, a Werwolf boy, and witch/warlock brother-sister duo, the human Rabbi with his Golem, and maybe a nephillum child...maybe gay. For diversity. All assembled by that Anti-Christ child that teleported to Australia to take himself out of the Apocalypse plans. With guest appearances by Sam and Dean. It would start out seeming like a teen drama but as the series progresses they would inevitably have the same kind of twisted hardships that Sam and Dean had to experience growing up. THAT would be a show.

The vampire girl could have been a vampire since the 1920s. The werewolf boy a wiz-tech. Then with the others... Damn, this could be like Supernatural's version of the Runaways.
