THE INCREDIBLE HULK Actress Liv Tyler Reportedly Offered A Lead Role In The CHILD'S PLAY Remake
We recently found out that MGM was planning a reboot of '80s horror classic Child's Play, and now we're hearing that the studio is interested in signing Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk) to a lead role...
Child's Play creator Don Mancini may not be too happy about it, but MGM is planning to move ahead with its remake of the classic '80s horror flick about a possessed doll named Chucky who terrorises a young boy and his mother, and we may now have some idea who's being lined up to play the latter.
According to That Hashtag Show, Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings, The Incredible Hulk) has been offered the role of little Andy's mother Karen, who gets a seriously hard time of it from ol' Chuckster in the original.
There's no indication if Tyler has shown any interest or not, but we'll keep you updated in that front.
Child's Play has Polaroid director Lars Klevberg on board to helm the project, which will be written by Tyler Burton Smith. David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith (It) will produce.
