With this type of movie you wouldn't expect the material to be taken very seriously, but believe it or not, that's seems to be director Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down) approach. “The idea was that it was 'Pride and Prejudice' set in this alternate world and then for everyone to play it straight," he tells EW. "The movie’s big wink is that there is no big wink." Well, that should be interesting to see at least.
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's period horror parody, and you can see the five Bennet sisters - Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Sukie Waterhouse) - in action on February 5, 2016.
