Although it has only premiered at film festivals until now, The Return has already gained some distinguished awards that bode well for the horror/thriller's reception. Not only did Richard Harmon receive the award for Best Actor at the New York City Horror Film Festival, but the movie itself claimed the title of Best Feature at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

Leading the cast of the terrifying supernatural ghost story are two stars from the incredibly popular CW series, The 100. In addition to Richard Harmon, his The 100 co-star Sara Thompson also features in the new horror movie.

BJ Verot is credited for directing the film, which also stars Echo Andersson, Marina Stephenson Kerr, Zoe Fish, Erik Athavale, and Gwendolyn Collins. The poster below gives a tease at one of the monsters in the film with a clever tagline, "Childhood Horrors Can Kill."

@Vanillain - When I first read that I was like TEN DC PROJECTS TF? And then I remembered that WB has other stuff, lmao. Sometimes my mind confuses the two on a quick glance.

This looked a little silly. I would only watch if someone I trust gave a positive recommendation. For reference, I thought the Babadook was so stupid and not scary.

@Shivermetimbers - When people tell me "oh, you should watch this horror movie, ______!" I ask, "did you think Babadook or It Follows was a good movie?" If they say yes to either of those I look at their recommendation as 100% worthless and a waste of my time! Worst overrated dumpster fires I ever seen! If I see those on any TOP 10 lists or any Amazing Horror movie lists, I know they dont have good taste!

From that image and "The Return", I got excited - I thought that was Quicksilver! Returning to the MCU (the good one - from AoU) - alas, bummer.
