WEREWOLVES WITHIN: Check Out The First Trailer For New Horror Comedy Starring Milana Vayntrub

The first trailer and a poster for Josh Ruben's new horror comedy, Werewolves Within, are now online, and this adaptation of Ubisoft's 2016 VR game teases an entertaining "whodunnit with teeth."

Director Josh Ruben's (Scare Me) and IFC Films' new horror comedy Werewolves Within hits theaters on June 25 and on-demand on July 2, and the first trailer is a right howl (sorry).

Based on the 2016 VR game from Ubisoft, Werewolves Within focuses on the tight-knit community of Beaverfield, and the residents' attempts to figure out which one of them is embarking on carnivorous lunar activities when a snowstorm traps them in a local inn for the night.

“I grew up near the same small town where we shot Werewolves Within," said Ruben. "As a kid, I’d freak myself out, making up monster stories, running through the woods, pretending I was Chief Brody, fighting creatures in the brush (I LOVED Jaws — hell, I loved horror). That hometown experience, where neighbors knew your business (whether you liked it or not) is so much of what makes Werewolves so personal.

But, as much as I love horror movies, nothing scares me more than people. And as much as this movie is an homage to my love for Hot Fuzz, the Coen Brothers, and Arachnophobia, it’s also about the monster in all of us.”

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster.

Werewolves Within stars Milana Vayntrub (who was slated to play Squirrel Girl in the now defunct New Warriors TV series) Sam Richardson, Harvey Guillén, Michaela Watkins, Catherine Curtin, Cheyenne Jackson, George Basil and Sarah Burns.

Hmm, maybe. June release will almost guarantee a sequel. It almost feels like a January release kind of movie, but better? Hmm

''focuses on the tight-knit community of Beaverfield''

With a poster like that, you just couldn't resist could you?

But okay, it looks fun.

This looks like a lot of fun. Sam Richardson is always a blast, it's great to see Harvey Guillan level up from WWDITS and it's long past time Vayntrub lands a breakout role. Can't wait!
