WEREWOLVES WITHIN: The Full Trailer For Josh Ruben's New Horror Comedy Is A Right Howl

That's our only werewolf pun... promise! The full trailer for Josh Ruben's new horror comedy, Werewolves Within, is now online, and things are getting a little hairy for the residents of Beaverfield...

Director Josh Ruben's (Scare Me) and IFC Films' new horror comedy Werewolves Within is set to hit theaters on June 25 and on-demand on July 2, and the full trailer is now online.

Based on the 2016 VR game from Ubisoft, Werewolves Within focuses on the tight-knit community of Beaverfield, and the residents' attempts to figure out which one of them is embarking on carnivorous lunar activities when a snowstorm traps them in a local inn for the night.

This latest look at Werewolves Within brings the laughs, but there's still no sign of the lycanthrope. The trailer is also light on gore, but the movie is Rated R, so we might get a red-band teaser closer to release.

“I grew up near the same small town where we shot Werewolves Within," said Ruben. "As a kid, I’d freak myself out, making up monster stories, running through the woods, pretending I was Chief Brody, fighting creatures in the brush (I LOVED Jaws — hell, I loved horror). That hometown experience, where neighbors knew your business (whether you liked it or not) is so much of what makes Werewolves so personal.

But, as much as I love horror movies, nothing scares me more than people. And as much as this movie is an homage to my love for Hot Fuzz, the Coen Brothers, and Arachnophobia, it’s also about the monster in all of us.”

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster.

Werewolves Within stars Milana Vayntrub (who was slated to play Squirrel Girl in the now defunct New Warriors TV series) Sam Richardson, Harvey Guillén, Michaela Watkins, Catherine Curtin, Cheyenne Jackson, George Basil and Sarah Burns.
