X: First Trailer For Ti West's New "F*cked Up Horror Picture" Is Dying To Show You A Good Time

Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Sacrament, The Innkeepers) fans have been anxiously awaiting a first look at the filmmaker's latest feature, and A24 has finally released the trailer for "f*cked up horror picture," X.

The updated synopsis tells us that "a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast soon find themselves in a desperate fight for their lives."

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre may seem like an obvious influence, but the trailer promises a few surprises, and possibly even a supernatural twist as a frighteningly formidable old dear sets about dispatching her houseguests in gruesome fashion.

Check out the teaser below (which contains some NSFW content) along with a poster, and let us know what you think.

At a secluded farmhouse in Texas, a film crew arrives to begin shooting an adult movie. Their hosts, a reclusive elderly couple, take a special interest in their young guests… As night falls the couple’s leering interest turns violent.

X stars Brittany Snow (Prom Night), Mia Goth (Suspiria), Scott Mescudi (Creepshow), Martin Henderson (The Ring), Owen Campbell (Super Dark Times), Stephen Ure (Deathgasm), and Jenna Ortega (Scream), and is set for release on March 18, 2022.

Ti West is one of the best horror directors doing it right now. The House of The Devil, The Sacrament and his V/H/S stories are all great, so very much looking forward to this. Always a treat to see Cudi too, although still not sure of his acting ability

This looks great, makes me wish Ti West directed the texas chainsaw reboot. The house of the devil was a great throwback horror film and this looks to be the same. Also after this and Scream 2021 Jenna Ortega may officially be the new Scream Queen.

He’s a good director, but I just can’t seem to get into his movies. I’ve started watching them multiple times, but I just never get gripped.

Ti West look and seems like uppity and up his own ass(he do wear a scarf around his neck lol). This is his first horror movie that I actually want to see in a very long time! Add this movie to my list of upcoming horror movies like Jeepers Creepers 4, terrifier 2, Halloween:The End, the new Texas chainsaw massacre, the new Evil Dead, to name a few. The mutilator is getting a sequel after 30 years. Okay kiss if you don't know what this movie is or about look it up before the secret come out it's gory good fun 😁

This looks awesome! That was a really well edited trailer.

Needed something horror to wash the taste of Scream out of my mouth. Saw it tonight, was so hyped after all the good reactions. Wtf, I don’t get it at all. It SUCKED. Talking about how unoriginal your movie is for the entire length of it doesn’t make it any less so. Self awareness doesn’t get you anywhere if you’re self aware that you’re out of ideas. I didn’t get how it was different from the last one. Which also sucked.
