X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Star James McAvoy Confirms IT: CHAPTER 2 Has Started Production

It exceeded expectations at the box office last year so it was no great surprise when Warner Bros. quickly started moving forward with a sequel and assembled an A-List cast to play adult versions of the Loser's Club. The big gets were Jessica Chastain as Beverley and her X-Men: Dark Phoenix co-star James McAvoy as Bill. Now, the latter has shared a photo from the first day of production on Chapter 2.
As you can see, this doesn't really reveal much but we now that shooting is underway and that could signal something being shown from the sequel at Comic-Con next month. After all, a cast photo of the Loser's would be very interesting and pretty much anything from Pennywise will give us all nightmares.
Joining him and Chastain in It: Chapter 2 are Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, Jay Ryan as Ben, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, James Ransone as Eddie, and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris. There's currently no word on other casting additions but the focus will more than likely remain on these characters and Bill Skarsgard's monstrous clown.
