Well if he is going to cater to Yay Fisher and give the barber he paid for personally and had nothing to do with the studio, then yeah give the guy credit, at least he is in the thing and was paid by the studio

@dracula - Yep Ray Fisher is essentially getting a second chance at life. This guy should too.

@KingLeonidas - Don't agree on that, a Justice League movie that the studio made was released, Fisher and Snyder were paid what they were promised, they are entitled to nothing.

Snyder isnt the first director fired and unlike him, they had the dignity to move on.

Sucks that Fisher has had a hard time finding work, I don't like the guy, but he did well in theater so he can probably act, but yeah he isnt the first actor who was in a crap movie and failed to find work for a while afterwords.

Just saying since this is being released, yeah give the guy credit, could be good, could be crap, either way he deserves credit more than a hair dresser that one of the actors personally hired

They are changing the fight to Darkseid......

Bet this is one of those last minute changes to build up hype like

Henry Lenix as Martian Manhunter

Black suit superman

Seriously what is the point of getting the "snyder cut". Its not what would have been released if he hadn't been fired, for one thing no studio makes 4 hour movies and yeah it probably wouldn't have even been 3 hours. Plus he is adding fanfic stuff, stuff obviously not part of his original idea

@dracula - This isn't a change. See the link in the article. He claimed in April 2019 that he shot a fight scene with Darkseid. So that seems like an original vision instead of black suit which is clearly a new vision.

@KingLeonidas - If its not a change from the original plan, good then, but he is still adding stuff that obviously wasnt part of his plan

@dracula - He admitted to that very frankly in the Reel in Motion interview -
They aren't trying to hide that.

@KingLeonidas - well nice to know they arent lying. Kind of cheapens this whole thing though, like ive said this is in no way what they were suppose to release 3 years ago, which from what i understand is what snyder fans wanted
KingLeonidas
KingLeonidas - 8/25/2020, 10:55 PM
@dracula - To be sure. At this point the "Snyder Cut" is a bogus term. It is basically a new movie made in 2020/2021. This is not the mythical Snyder Cut that he claimed existed for years or whatever. This is definitely a bait and switch.
dracula
dracula - 8/25/2020, 11:01 PM
@KingLeonidas - Just another reason I don't like the guy, baited his fans to bully a studio for a movie that might still be crap, and what he is releasing isnt even what those people asked for.

@dracula - Darkseid was always going to be in that scene.

If he has more screen time in the Snyder Cut then he should get a credit.

There's no reason why this flashback should include a longer fight, & I'm starting to feel it will be closer to 20 minutes in the SC with all the hype it's getting, it actually felt like a nice length in the theatrical cut. It's just enough to know what happened, gives a couple of fan nods (GL & Thewlis face), & sets up the quest the characters should be on.

David Thewlis face will most likely still be on top of his face, as it's in support of continuity, & there's literally no reason to take that back. They should both be credited of course.

@8thDoctor - Snyder Cut is NOT Canonical and is a different continuity. So they might as well give this guy credit.

@KingLeonidas - How do we know it's not canonical? I'm expecting the Flash to take from this version for their Batman arc, rather than from the Joss cut. Of course give him credit, the credit that he is due in the credits for playing Ares. I'm not disputing that, I just don't see why they should feature his face over Thewlis, it's the rest of his body that Snyder wanted anyway.
