JUSTICE LEAGUE: Superman FINALLY Joins The Team On These Alex Ross Inspired Posters And Banner

Now that Justice League is in theaters, Warner Bros. is done hiding Superman and he joins the rest of the team on these officially released, Alex Ross inspired posters. Hit the jump to check them out!

Justice League didn't live up to Warner Bros.' expectations this past weekend either critically or commercially and in what might just be a bid to generate interest in the movie over Thanksgiving, Superman has finally been included in marketing materials. Outside of fans, many people didn't expect the Man of Steel to return and it could be the studio is regretting keeping the hero's role under wraps.
After all, at least teasing his return to general moviegoers not necessarily in the know might have really helped as just a single shot of Superman in the trailers would have generated a lot of excitement.

It's too late to know whether or not Superman
being included in marketing materials would have made a difference to Justice League's opening weekend but these posters and banners are downright awesome. It's about time we get to see Superman standing alongside the rest of the team and the fact these posters are inspired by Alex Ross just make them even better and they feel complete now.

Thank Xenu they didn't go with evil Superman the whole movie. The shot of the trinity at the end was dope.

@blackandyellow -
Wish I could get a pic of that Trinity shot. They looked beautiful standing together.

And this is probably one of the most beautiful CBM posters ever.

The JL movie has nothing on AR art.

Superman should be in the middle of the poster. Right now, the poster makes it look like all they care about is Batman. Still, I'm glad he's in the marketing now. They really should have done more to put him in all the marketing. I loved the motion poster that showed him as the empty space that needs to be filled, instead of the ones that left him out as if he never existed.

@SisterSunday52 - I'm pretty sure they were always gonna add him in this poster after the movie aired.

There's just no way Clay Enos and Snyder made this Alex Ross shoot without Cavill as Supes.

@JohnnyTBP - tbh that scene was kinda a let down. The way it was narrated by ww and how short it was. I expected more from it. Although at the same time it was awesome seeing the old gods and the ring just fly off.
