ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE Stills Reveal Incredible New Look At Darkseid And The Team Assembled

Two more stills from Zack Snyder's Justice League have been revealed, and as well as Darkseid in his Uxas form, we see the team assembled (minus Superman) as they look to save the world from Steppenwolf...

We've really not got long to go until Zack Snyder's Justice League arrives on HBO Max, and two more stills from the "Snyder Cut" have found their way online today.

As you can see, the first offers a detailed, alternate shot of Uxas (a.k.a. Darkseid) when he attacked Earth thousands of years ago in pursuit of the Mother Boxes. It definitely looks like some additional VFX work has been done since we first saw him as the level of details here is very impressive.

Then, there's a shot of the team aboard the Flying Fox preparing to attack Steppenwolf during the final battle. Superman isn't with them, but as we know from the theatrical cut, that's because he doesn't join the team until a little later in the fight (though we're sure it'll play out slightly differently here).

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.

Snyder did great with 300. I loved Batman v Superman up until Doomsday walked out and looked like a troll from LOTR and killed Supe in his second movie...fuxd up on character design and let down on story telling skills

@Wolverine43X - I mostly liked BvS, things that didn’t work for me were Doomsday, the Martha scene and Lex, just wasn’t into Jesse Eisenberg’s version of Lex. They shouldn’t have shoved Wonder Woman and Doomsday into it and focus on Batman, Superman and Lex. Oh and I hated Snyder killing off Superman in his second film it made no sense. I’ve loved most of Snyder’s films, Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, Legend of the Guardians, Man of Steel.. I’m a fan of all those films, I never saw Sucker Punch and my least favourite Snyder film is probably BvS without counting Justice League even though it says “directed by Zack Snyder” it’s clear that it wasn’t his film. We’ll see about the SnyderCut. Darkseid looks amazing in this pic, CGI on point, for me personally I don’t get the “CGI looks awful” that people have been saying on this site.. people are so harsh on CGI these days I don’t get it.

@TyrantBossMedia - Nah come on. The film wasn’t just those things, you could like the beginning of the film, the lead up to everything, the tone, the action. Doomsday, Wonder Woman and Superman’s death isn’t all BvS is.. Lex just the way he acted not the actual character himself. It’s like 50% good 50% bad lol so I take back the mostly liked it.

@TyrantBossMedia - For me I liked the whole idea of Superman in the film, everyone disagreeing with is he good for the world or not, the religious symbolism, the great opening Bruce Wayne scenes, him witnessing the destruction of Metropolis, I thought Affleck was great as Wayne/Batman, Alfred was great, I think for me personally most of the film was solid, just the end was annoying. So agree to disagree I guess

@TyrantBossMedia - Completely agree, all good things. They did rush BvS that was clear, but that comes from the studio wanting to play catch up with Marvel. But the rushed film that was made by Snyder, I found interesting and well made personally. Apart from some faults. For example the Superman death because of it being his second film and knowing he was returning in the next film it shouldn’t have been done at all, but for this one film BvS the three hours that I saw it made sense and it worked, especially with all the religious imagery, Supes was pretty much Jesus and died for humanity. Doomsday and Wonder Woman stuff now that was the part of the film that was rushed and didn’t fit. The Martha stuff was well set up and I understand what Snyder was going for but it just didn’t work for me. I think it’s a film that is better than we first thought it was, I remember being really disappointed but watching it again recently grew an appreciation for it.

@TyrantBossMedia - While I agree BvS is overall a terrible movie, a few things were great. Just seeing a live action DKR battle suit was cool (just 10 movies too early) & the Batman warehouse scene was f$&king awesome! The problem is the rest of the movie is an overall mess with way too many storylines crammed in. Sometimes less is more but that (subtlety) doesn’t seem to be Snyder’s style.

How does your main guy die in the second film??? Your audience could care less. Make people care through multiple films about fictional characters. That is what Marvel is...hook audience through character development...

@OysterMoisture - No, i just love those characters. I think he just got it wrong. Maybe I am wrong...but why start with a old bruce wayne in the first film??? I dont think it made sense..

@OysterMoisture - Look at this and tell me it looks good:

PS3 videogame graphics from 13 years ago. In a 2021 blockbuster that had $70 additional million put in it (from the original 2017 film that already had higher budget than ALL 3 LOTR FILMS PUT TOGETHER.

A disgrace.
