Zack Snyder's Justice League is fast approaching, and DC Shop just shared a new live-action shot of Darkseid. We've seen promo art of the villain, and quite a few different looks at Uxas, so it's surprising that this is how WarnerMedia has chosen to officially "reveal" this iconic bad guy.
"Fans will meet Darkseid in Zack Snyder's Justice League, and the live-action version of this iconic DC villain looms large in this t-shirt," reads the official description.
Showing Darkseid on his throne on Apokolips, he makes for an imposing figure, and while it's unlikely the villain will get physical with the League, he certainly looks like more than a match for them!
A new trailer for the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League will be released on Sunday, and it will be interesting to see what HBO Max chooses to reveal there. Darkseid showing up definitely seems likely, and we obviously can't wait to see how he looks in action (Ray Porter will be providing his voice).
In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.
Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.
