JUSTICE LEAGUE: Joss Whedon Has Reportedly Also Cut Kiersey Clemons' Iris West From The Film

It seems Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor isn't the only one cut from Justice League. A new report says Kiersey Clemons' Iris West has also been removed. Will the role be recast for Flashpoint?

There appears to be sweeping changes going on behind the scenes of the DCEU.  Reports that Jesse Eisenberg's turn as Lex Luthor in Justice League first surfaced last month and were later confirmed by leaks from a recent test screening by WB.  Now, that same test screening has resulted in a second leak hitting the net, that Kiersey Clemons' Iris West has also been cut from the film.  Could WB be looking to recast the role?

With the departure of her Dope director Rick Famuyiwa and the fact that Clemons had no idea that The Flash was being retooled as a Flashpoint movie mere moments before the SDCC announcement, fans are already speculating that WB might be looking to recast.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed just yet, so stay tuned for further updates.

@Spidey91 - I like both directors, so I'm ok with either really. I was really interested in seeing what Jesse Eisenberg brought back to the table as Lex...and I'll be honest, I've never seen anything she's in (I don't think at least) so I can't speak for her part. But I'm sure she did well

I suspecting that Flashpoint may have something to do with this......or simply put it did not fit into the movie.

@JoeMomma29 - I feel like Whedon is streamlining JL and the edits have no bearing on the standalone films. He seems to be avoiding the over complicated subplots that dragged down BvS and focusing on the core dynamic of the team. That's why Alex, Deathstroke and now Iris are cut. Good news if true.
