With Justice League set to hit Digital HD next month and DVD and Blu-ray in March, it's now become clear that we're not getting a Zack Snyder director's cut (at least not in the near future). However, the movie's home release will feature "The Return of Superman" and details about what the filmmaker may have originally had planned before Joss Whedon took charge continue finding their way online.
Now, one of the DC Comics adaptation's previs artists has shared a video featuring at least one scene which wasn't included in Justice League. As you can see, Superman looks down at the symbol on his monument and turns to face the League with his heat vision blaring (a sign, perhaps, that he was going to be darker in nature upon his return). We also get a lengthy look at Steppenwolf's battle with the Amazons on Themyscira and a horde of Parademons attacking Batman's Batmobile in Russia.
Snyder is known for using previs techniques for his movies, so chances are the scenes we see here ended up being shot. This sole shot of the Man of Steel doesn't really change anything but as we noted, it could be a sign he was going to be a little more...evil! What do you guys think? Sound off below.
