Zack Snyder Finally Sheds Some Light On BATMAN v SUPERMAN's Confusing "Knightmare" Sequence

Zack Snyder packed a lot of story into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but one scene which got everybody talking was Bruce Wayne's bizarre dream which seemingly offered a glimpse into the future. On Vero, the filmmaker continues to be vocal about his now scrapped plans for the DC Films Universe and confirmed that the visit the Caped Crusader received from the future Flash was indeed real.

Snyder then elaborated on the sequence revolving around Superman confronting and ultimately killing Batman and it sounds like him saying "She was my world" was indeed a reference to Lois Lane.

"If someone lost someone close to them they might be susceptible to a certain Equation and might blame a certain Bat for events that a too soon Bruce would know nothing about," the filmmaker revealed, referring to Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation and the fact that the Man of Steel would have broken bad and fallen under the villain's control. Unless time travel would have been used to set things right, this pretty much confirms Snyder was planning on turning the DCEU into a wasteland!

That definitely wouldn't have sat well with a lot of fans but proves that Snyder had some very dark ideas for the world of the Justice League. What do you think about these new details? Sound off below.
