Another day, another character trailer and poster for Zack Snyder's Justice League

This time, the spotlight is put on Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry, and the journey he takes in this movie to become Aquaman (most of that ended up playing out in 2018's Aquaman, of course).

We hear plenty of voiceover from Willem Dafoe's Vulko as he encourages the half-human, half-Atlantean to accept his mother's trident and become a hero. We also hear dialogue from other characters, including Ciaran Hinds' Steppenwolf. It definitely sounds like some changes have been made to his voice for the "Snyder Cut," as the villain sounds a lot less...human!

We still have Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and the Flash to go, so keep checking back for them over the next few days...the order they'll be released in remains to be seen.

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.

The moms who made Aquaman a billion dollar hit have run out of excuses to see this one because of the R rating

@WakandanQueen - Aquaman deserved the billion dollars, thoroughly enjoyable film.

@RageDriver2401 - Maybe in the minority, but I like the grungy costume Snyder gave him over this. The orange corn niblets don't fit a guy like Mamoa. But this does imo...

@KWilly - I don't know, I feel he pulled it off pretty well. Plus it looks more regal.

@KWilly - Snyder takes whatever small amount of color that's there and removes it entirely with his dark color filter (worse with the black and white cut)

@RageDriver2401 - Yeah, true.

@RageDriver2401 - Not a big fan of that movie, but man, does it hit a different level from the moment he arrives in that suit 😁

@lordSTALE - Yea I mean it's not a groundbreaking CBM like Batman Begins or TDK, but it does a good job at bringing some very ridiculous concepts to life. It was a fun movie.

hmmm does this contradicts the aquaman movie?

@NicolausCopernicus - This was made beforehand (though this flick would've been better had it been that Aquaman already established with the Justice League being a compilation of the greatest heroes in DC history instead of being established as two semi-legendary heroes plus three amateurs with Superman coming in to give an extra hand and make an even 6).

Pretentious or not, Snyder sure knows how to get people hyped. I was hyped before but with these trailers coming out day-to-day I can barely wait now lol

@Cap1 - He knows how to get the people who were already excited for this, consistently excited

This isn't winning over new people, I'm afraid

@lordSTALE - oh i’m sure it’s even deterring newcomers. But i’m not interested in him gaining new fans lol they’re released to make us hyped n i am hyped so they’ve worked

Most excited for more Momoa and Dafoe. Aquamans my favourite Comic character ever so the most disappointing part of the Theatrical Cut for me was no vulko and the removal of the atlantean sub plot. I feel like the Aquaman movie will only benefit from this version

I'm still confused on whether or not Zack had different intentions for Aquaman in these movies. Like when he was shown in BvS with armor/his trident, but then in both the theatrical cut and Snyder's movie he's completely removed from Atlantis.

In general its like Zack tried to visually portray him as way more of a regal figure than his backstory ended up being. Also, I feel like Jason's voice/portrayal of Arthur doesn't match with his constantly-snarling appearance, lol.
