The Cosmic Circus has shared a few more intriguing tidbits about the MCU's future, starting with the Vision series coming to Disney+ next year. The cast has started taking shape in recent weeks, with Marvel Studios' plans for the WandaVision follow-up now becoming clear.

The site's Alex Perez has said that there will be a "small" win for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans in the show, and he names Jocasta as an antagonist in Vision.

On the page, she was introduced as the "Bride of Ultron," so the android will likely be working with him. However, eventually becomes a hero in the comics, so that may be planned for the MCU, too.

This year's Wonder Man series is seemingly setting the stage for the West Coast Avengers to debut, but that's not the only team getting ready to assemble. Perez reiterates that Marvel Studios' Young Avengers project is going to take the form of a TV series—Champions—with Hulkling saved as "one of the pillars of the upcoming cosmic saga."

Aubrey Plaza will return as Death after debuting in Agatha All Along, and Perez has heard that Marvel Studios' supernatural plans are "Very dark, very demonic and something out of a Guillermo Del Toro fever dream."

Much has been said about the Multiverse Saga being followed by the "Mutant Saga," but the scooper has heard that Marvel Studios may be setting its sights on exploring the cosmos.

"Cosmic is the biggest one right now. Then Mutant. Followed by the Supernatural," Perez said of what the next era of MCU storytelling will look like after Avengers: Secret Wars

Remember, several semi-reliable leakers have said the idea is for Marvel's Mightiest Heroes doing battle with Annihilus and the Annihilation Wave. If so, we'd expect that story to revolve around the Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Nova.

Back to the comics, Annihilus invaded the Marvel Universe with his Annihilation Wave, an armada comprised of thousands of starships and an army with countless "bugs."

Planet after planet fell as Annihilus set out to acquire the Power Cosmic used by Galactus and his Heralds. His endgame? To destroy all life in both universes.

Eventually, the likes of the Silver Surfer, Star-Lord, Drax, and Nova assembled to stop the villain. It was Richard Rider who saved the day, though, as he shoved his fist down Annihilus' throat and killed him by ripping out the creature's internal organs.

'"small" win for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans in the show'

That sounds very much like having Coulson's LMD slipped into it somewhere (even if only shown static in a lab where they are trying to replicate the LMD tech).

@Apophis71 - I actually think it's going to involve Aida.

@Apophis71 - that would be interesting though I prefer he just live his life

I think it would be cool if Ultron or whoever is using Holden Radcliffe’s LMD schematics or something though.

@Apophis71 - I miss that show (MAOS). With all the trouble Marvel Studios is having the last 4 years (especially on the Disney+ side), i don't know why they don't just revive MAOS -- a show with well-liked characters and actors, and a diverse cast years before DEI overdid diversity and gnawed into story-telling.

@JstaKIDfrmBKLYN - Aida would be cool too but the main thing being some reference or inclusion to the AoS LMD tech, original or Coulson's latter version seems daft to pass up if going there with potentialy or actualy creating human looking synthetics.

@Apophis71 - Anything after S5 0f AoS has conflicts with MCU canon. LMD Coulson is post S5 so I can't see it. Otoh S1-5 involve Skye/Quake and the inhumans which conflicts with thw mutants so anything that acually happens imo will be some thing like Melinda May

@JDL - Nothing conflicts with MCU canon when your in a multiverse saga (as proven by SM:NWH and DP&W) or after a crisis on infinate earths type event as diverging timeline can be crossed over from and/or merged back together.

That said, IF you retcon there are alt options anyway so either AoS always was canon up until S5 and simply able to bring them back from a branch timeline due to incursions or merging of timelines or they can do the loose canon method that AoS was similar but not identical and Coulson never 'saved' and instead brought back as an LMD for an almost identical history of that team. Which folk would choose it to be could be left to individuals as unlikely to specify or reference any specifics that don't need to be mentioned.

Mutants + Cosmic sounds a lot like The Phoenix Saga.

Marvel Studios quickly abandoned their cosmic stuff after Captain Marvel’s story was stunted stemming from Brie Larson hate, and after Eternals earned them their first rotten fruit from critics.

Part of the reason why they rehired Gunn for GOTG3 at all, to have their cosmic stories end on a high note

@JFerguson - GOTG3 (as relatively engaging as it was) was hardly the final-word on all things cosmic for the MCU. No doubt whatsoever we will be seeing more space oriented stories in the future. 🤓

Cosmic side has been lacklustre so far

Annihilus is too generic. A giant bug with disposable bugs for heroes to fight

They should go with Korvac or Morg

Jocasta being an antagonist in Vision Quest isn’t surprising since her description as T Nia Miller was cast was of a cunning & powerful robot that’s out for revenge

Anyway if true then I like their take on the supernatural side of the MCU apparently aswell as the focus on Cosmic ,Supernatural & Mutants in the next saga since I feel that should be the case on the films while tv is more street level.

How about doing something cosmic for people who like sci-fi AND something mutant for people who like that, AND something supernatural for people who like horror.

It doesn't all have to be about "phases" and it doesn't all have to be connected. Popular characters will help too ie. the ones people ask for not the ones people don't ask for. Not rocket science.
