GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Trailer Takes Us To Counter-Earth And Introduces Adam Warlock

Appearing at CCXP22 (Comic-Con Experience 2022) in São Paulo, Brazil earlier today, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Zoe Saldana, who plays Gamora, wowed fans in attendance by debuting the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer. Don't worry if you weren't there, though, as we have it for you to watch below!

This movie will serve as James Gunn's MCU swansong as he bids farewell to this shared world in order to take the reigns over at the newly launched DC Studios.

The filmmaker clearly intends to go out on a high, and all signs point to this being an epic, emotional ride. In terms of big reveals, we get to see The High Evolutionary, Counter-Earth, Lylla, and a very badass Adam Warlock. Gamora also receives her fair share of the spotlight, but just how different is this Variant?

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.

@MovieMonster - I hope not. My heart can't take losing Tony and Rocket in the same continuity.
