The Marvel movie based on the Russian femme fatale is making progress.

Black Widow writer/director David Hayter says his first take on the movie's script has been delivered to Lion's Gate. "I just submitted the final draft of the script, and it has been received very positively," Hayter told Comics Continuum. "We are supposed to sit down and discuss casting this week."

Hayter is a veteran of super-hero films, having worked on X-Men, X2: X-Men United and on the upcoming Iron Man movie.
