COMICS: Final Fantastic Four Teaser Says "It's Not Over" For The Future Foundation!

Despite the rumored return of Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four #600, Marvel have today revealed that the "Future Foundation" are going nowhere in this final teaser which seemingly reveals the new status quo of that book...

Since Monday, we've had teaser after teaser hinting at the return of the Human Torch, along with confirmation that the main book will return to its original numbering with #600. Many saw that as an indication that the "Future Foundation" would be wrapping up also. Well, not so according to Marvel in the fifth and final image. It would appear that the title will be shifting its focus to the younger cast of character from now on. What do you guys make of this? Share your thoughts below!

So there's going to be a Fantastic Four AND Future Foundation? I don't even know half of those people on that cover, most def not reading anymore FF if that's the case. This is like Power Pack on steroids.

awesome. Franklin and Val are great characters. I'm also a big fan of Mini-Wizard, i'd love to see a rivalry between these 3 ala Reed & Doom

This is just plain dumb. How long has the Future Foundation been a team, a month?

ps the characters are:

Leech (from the Morlocks)
Franklin & Val Richards
Alex Power (from Power Pack)
Bentley 23 (Wizard clone)
Dragon Man
Artie Maddicks (ex mutant)
plus some Moloids, and Atlanteans

They are quite literally the foundation of the future so I think it makes sense. Id love if the FF kept the white costumes and added 4's tho.

@ xcrementus

much obliged. I'm familiar with Franklin and Val (though I haven't read enough to fully understand Franklin's powers) and I remember Leech and Artie from their days in X-Factor. Artie's not a mutant anymore?

nah, he got House of M-ified.
Franklin's got some freaky deaky reality-altering powers...he uses them in Fear Itself #5. And Val's crazy smart...almost too crazy.

i think you mean the ancient Atlantean dudes? or the moloids?

they havent been super-developed character wise yet, im guessing their own book will flesh them out a lot more.

See how this image is rather bright and shiny and Franklin appears to be looking slightly up? That is the glow of the Human Torch coming back to throw a couple shrimp on the barbie!

I still don't think Johnny's coming back so soon. I think they just put Johnny on the cover of #600 as a sign of respect and to drum up sales. Lucky Artie, he loses his powers yet gets to keep looking horrible.

I'm actually hoping for Nathaniel Richards to stick around in FF. it'd be good to have grandpa watching their backs, he kicks major ass!

@LordHuck...it really is a strange book to launch as a monthly, and a huge risk considering sales overall are down. Odds are it won't reach another 12 issues, but I'm gonna check it out though, mainly cus Hickman has some groovy ideas, and its something other than the same old, same old. That, and i really wanna see Mini-Wizard become evil (cackling in an evil fashion).

So the shoes of choice at the Future Foundation are Chuck Taylors? Or Converse must donate them to the foundation. And Fruit of a Loom provides the foundation with its single colored t-shirts?

It's really sad that the Richards couldn't spill some cash on these kids' clothing at the foundation. Probably still owes money to the designer of the white costumes.

Who cares. Fantastic Four has been a terrible comic since it began, with a few minor exceptions. They should just end the team.

Not a chance I'll keep reading this book without the original FF members + Spiderman (minus Human Torch). It's a shame; they completely crapped out on the idea of a new FF and a status quo change for Spiderman.

Awwwwww crap, now im gonna have to stop reading FF and read the other Fantastic Four, well at least I got the good issues, but I might just pick that one up to see how it goes.

@marvel72- How can he be 20? lol The cosmic rays event happened only 10 years.

I am actually interested in this. I know a little about some of the characters but not all of them. They haven't really been mainstream in events lately so if anything they feel very refreshing. And I'm ready to learn something new about characters.
