Invincible, Robert Kirkman's teen superhero series from Image Comics, has been optioned by Paramount Pictures for movie development.
Paramount-based Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Circle of Confusion hope to make a franchise of the book, according to Variety.
For those unfamiliar to the storyline, Invincible is about "the coming of age of teen Mark Grayson, son of the world's most powerful superhero. The story will focus on the father/son dynamic during the time that the son, who appears to be a normal teen, begins to exhibit his father's powers," according to the trade. Kirkman will write the script.
