Part One

What if Bruce Banner Never Knew He Was The Incredible Hulk
In this reality, Shield, The United States Army, And General Thunderbolt Ross, are involved in a huge cover-up conspiracy, to keep Bruce Banner in the dark about his transformations into the Incredible Hulk.
For years Banner has been kept in a top secret Guantanamo Bay style Military prison, experimented on by General Ross military scientists. He´s told he´s being kept there for his own good, but he receives no explanation why.
The story is told from 4 perspectives:
General Ross
1) General Ross remains frustrated that for whatever reason, they have not been able to recreate the circumstances of The Hulks creation, without killing those involved, a heroic soldier named Steve Rodgers who briefly became Captain America, being their worst attempt. After being exposed to the gamma radiation that caused Hulks transformation he has become a freak monstrous looking crippled creature.
Ross, thus has been using Banner in various American Military covert operations, by knocking Banner out tranquillizer gas; and then giving him adrenaline boosts, before dropping him in the area needed. Literally using him like an Atom Bomb. This has had much success, they are then able to subdue the Hulk, by using tranquillizers, with Adimantium needles to calm him, restoring him to Bruce, so as to recapture him again.
He´s had various successes with this strategy; but more pressure is put on him by the CIA, to solve Project Green Man. In this part of the story, we find out from Ross´ perspective, how he´s researched Banner´s life from childhood, all the way to his career in Harvard, to see what could have happened to make him so unique. We see the covert operations Hulk has been in, since the 30s, how it first happened, and how he set up a project to contain Green Man, how he convinced his daughter Betty for years that they were containing Banner so as to cure him, so she´d play along.
This ends with Ross on his death bed, dying of Cancer, suddenly having a pang of conscience. He´s always thought he was acting in his countries best interest, but his whole life since Hulk´s birth has been dedicated to Hulk. His life shrouded in secrecy, a private military genius, he dies alone, divorced, unaware where his runaway daughter is. His last words; “was it all worth it? I served my country well, my legacy as a war hero, and general will remain intact, I don´t know. Sorry Betty. Sorry Bruce.” A tear falls from his cheek, then he just starts screaming for his Daughter. You see a file fall from his withered hand, which states that they´ve finally cracked “The Green Man Question” He dies.
Jack Mcgee
2) This is told from the view point of a young reporter named Jack McGee; who stumbles upon the story of his life, when he witnesses the accident that causes The Hulk. He´s a reporter at the mission, who is supposed to be reporting the success story of the American Military finally creating the Atom Bomb. (Or something) He then witnesses what happens to Bruce.
An emergency evacuation of the site is requested. Later that night, Jack sees a grey behemoth trashing the Military compound he´s staying in. Jack comes out to photograph the Mayhem. But when the Grey Hulk, ends up standing right in front of Jack, he is stunned dropping the Camera, and it is destroyed in the ensuing Mayhem the Hulk causes. He wakes up in the hospital some days later, but there has been a massive cover-up.
The rest of this segment tells, how Jack chases this story all over the world. the hulkj evading him like a phantom. Looking for answers in War Zones where the creature has been spotted. You see as he flushes his whole career down the toilet, with the greatest story of his career always just out of reach.
Betty Ross
3) Betty Ross, we see how her dad manipulates her into years of lying about what they are doing with Bruce in his jail cell, how they are trying to cure him. However, she soon has suspicions. Things are just not adding up, her proposals constantly refused. Everyday she goes to see Bruce, who she was engaged to before the accident. Lying to him about the nature of his condition and why he needs to be isolated.
Eventually when Bruce starts going Mad from his detention, a military psychiatrist is brought in called Leonard Samson, who runs therapy sessions with him, reassuring him. But, Bruce becomes so withdrawn and lost, that Betty can´t bare to see him anymore. She for a while has a brief fling with Samson, the only one she can confide in about her suffering. All the while she digs deeper into a conspiracy of what is happening discovering that in fact her father and Samson are part of a military cover-up to contain the Hulk and turn him into a weapon. She eventually runs a way, in hope she can some how get help. But she isn´t able to. Bruce Banner is told that she died, leaving Samson the only one left who sees Banner.
Banner And Hulk
4) This is told from Banner´s and Hulk´s point of view. We see sessions where he´s complaining to Samson about the headaches and dark spells he gets, where he has no idea where the time went. He thinks he´s suffering from multiple personality disorder, brought on by early child hood trauma. Banner is very inquisitive and wants to know why he´s been confined. He´s given medical excuses.
The last bit of this segment is Hulk is dropped off in a War Zone, but from years of being used like this he recognizes, that the people around aren´t his enemies, and he in fact saves the villagers and people around eventually fighting off the American Military. He becomes, particually concerned about a young boy, who he instinctively wants to help. Over time he´s grown so strong from anger even the admantium tranquillizer pellets won´t pierce his skin.
He gets a way and the beast is finally revealed to the world. But before long the young boy, who the Hulk is trying to protect from being killed by random military missiles, calms him, turning him back to Banner. Banner discovers what he´s been all this time, and now takes to the road.
What If Magneto´s Powers Were Discovered By The Nazi´s And He Was Hailed The Ubermench? Starting Off A Mutant Super powered Arms Race.
This could be another very cool graphic novel. The premise is Magneto as a child in Nazi Germany, manages to use his powers to keep the SS from discovering his Jewish family. Hiding in the filthy attics and basements. He survives like this at least until America joins the war. However he´s still a child, and, his powers are very weak at this point. Soon he´s captured just after Adolf Hitler has a mental break down, attempting his own suicide. It is then that a cruel, vicious and shrewd ranking member of the party is told about a German Jewish boy, with spectacular powers. Realizing Magneto may be the key to winning the war, The Nazi, releases him and his family out of the concentration camp appeasing him; adopting them as his own, giving them the same luxuries, top military generals enjoy. But when he sees the extent of Magneto´s powers grow over the months he adopts him and his family, he realizes that the fuhrer has to compromise allowing this boy and his family to be exempt from the camps. It is then that this leader takes over, Magnus is so happy that he spared him and his family, especially his sister that he begins to love This Leader, successfully helping him take over The Party.
Once the new leader of The Nazi Party releases Magnus on American troops, he defeats, several troops single handedly. Astounded at his powers, America soon hears about Magnus. Germany has a Superman. They try to Nuke Germany, but Magnus again uses his powers, saving Germany.
America begins pulling troops out of Germany.
It is then that Russia hears about him, but they´ve discovered their own Super powered boy. A boy who can turn to steel giving him super strength. It is not long after, that Magneto´s younger sister also starts manifesting strange abilities. The rest of the story shows how a Mutant arms race develops between the three powers. Eugenics is used by the Nazi´s to create more mutants. The Russians, begin murdering families who refuse to hand over their Mutant children to the Party. The Nazi´s decide now Jews who are Mutants should be separated from non-mutant Jews. While in America growing fear mounts around these gifted individuals, whether they can be trusted or not.
Magneto eventually becomes supreme ruler of Germany, and enacts the Non-Mutant Law, claiming it is nonmutants who are losing Germany the war effort. Making them slaves, and eventually eradicating them. Also erasing all history of his family being Jewish. Charles Xavier, a young scientist and social thinker in America, becomes the leading proponent in saying that Magneto is dangerous and America must join the war again, unless his theories of Mutant Domination will spread throughout the world.
This tells of the cold war that starts between all three powers and a revisionist history is told from that point of view.
What if Charles Xavier, was voted in the 45th President Of The United States Of America?
In this reality Charles Xavier never lost the ability to walk. Storm is his wife and becomes first lady.
In this story, a Republican President has been caught in a scandal, when he puts through legislation allowing for the use of robots called sentinels to police A Mutant Registration act. Mutants who do not register are taken to detention centers, run by sentinels. At first Americans were for it, but soon the sentinels were used for more than that.
They began to deploy them to police student protests, over an unpopular war America was engaged in; they are used as weapons against terrorism etc. It all collapses when it´s discovered this new programming has confused the Sentinels, who are randomly attacking humans, as they now believe that mutants are humans, so they need to be policed against themselves. When the X-Men stop these sentinels, Charles Xavier´s popularity rises high amongst the American people.
Charles is convinced to get into politics, soon finding himself running for President against a Christian Fundamentalist, bigoted opposition leader. Due to inspiring speeches and Incredible charisma, he begins to be seen as the inevitable savior of all the countries ills, young people, students, cool Hollywood movie stars get behind him.
We watch through his first year in term as Antimutant and Mutant supremacist groups seek to have him fail, publicly humiliated or killed. Sex Scandals with former X-men students are brought up. Bills he tries to put through are proclaimed Anti-American. Lobbyist who once supported him turn against him. Magneto, who is leader of a radical mutant movement prevents an assassination attempt on Charles.
As wee see him try and put radical bills through congress, it is clear that his policies, start isolating him from invested interests, who want to show Mutants are incapable of leading a country, as they are but the minority, where as humans are over 80 per cent of the citizens of America. Mutants are fed up that he´s not causing enough change quick enough. We see as he falls from grace, his political aspirations in tatters, finding it impossible to appease any part of humanity.
This Graphic Novel would cover his first term, how he got to power through flash backs; the groups against him, and how they plot to have him ousted, and finally him on the brink of campaigning for a second term.
Charles is visited by Magnus. They have a final argument over their respective positions. Charles almost has to concede, seeing his presidency as a failure, Magneto flies away, believing he´s finally convinced his old friend as to the futility of his mission.
It ends when Charles is shot, by a fanatic, who is in love with Charles. Charles is crippled, paralyzed, in a coma. At first the country do not know whether he´s going to survive, but as he´s in a coma, the country realizes the tragedy and persecution he´s suffered, they begin to feel sorrow for him. It unifies a lot of the country, and a lot of the moderates who weren´t even on his side, join vigils, for this man of peace. He wins the election by a Majority of 56 to 44.
