It might be time for fans of Ridley Scott's seminal sci-fi classic to stop worrying about Denis Villeneuve's sequel, because the first reactions to Blade Runner 2049 are in and they are very positive indeed.

I am confident that this movie will be good only because I am a fan of the director...but this overuse of the "masterpiece" phrase strikes me as a concerted effort to exaggerate its quality by a studio known for doing this. If it really is that good...why the embargo?
