These latest Godzilla set photos show an abandoned Japanese fishing village mangled, and another set has school children scurrying for safety. Also, the USS Alameda landing craft set was rocking back and forth with jets of water being sprayed up into the air.

GODZILLA is being directed by Gareth Edwards ("Monsters"), from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham. The cast includes: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The film will stomp into theaters May 16, 2014.

That village part reminds me of the similar scene in King Of The Monsters, when Godzilla walks through the fishing village on that island. Taking a few queues from the classic original "Americanized" movie cant hurt.
