STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Artwork Gives Us A New Look At The Knights Of Ren

The latest issue of Star Wars Insider features some very nice artwork of The First Order and the mysterious Knights of Ren. We also have a new TV spot to remind us that the movie is now just 3 months away.

The cover of the latest issue of Star Wars Insider magazine features some new promo art for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which places the focus on Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and his First Order army.

In addition to the now re-masked villain and some of his(?) Sith Troopers, we get another glimpse of the Knights of Ren, who were mentioned in The Force Awakens but have yet to make their presence felt in the galaxy far, far away. That'll change in this final installment of the Skywalker Saga, however.

The newsstand cover features Rey (Daisy Ridley), but we'ere pretty sure this is actually a promo still from The Last Jedi.

Check out both covers below along with a new TV spot (there doesn't appear to be any fresh footage), and let us know if you're looking forward to The Rise of Skywalker in the comments.

UPDATE: Here's the full version.

In a world of laser blasters, I dont know why these guys always insist on using hand to hand combat weapons

I know a lot of people are sick of lightsabers, or look down on them or whatever, but I'm personally sick of these tease weapons that are not quite lightsabers. We've just gotten a lot of them all at once and idk, something about the design always leaves something to be desired. Like they even have lasers most of the time. Now the Knights of Ren are force users and even They choose to use these dumb melee weapons?? It just feels way more 'present day Earth' than 'Star Wars' to me.

Maybe they're still deathly afraid to touch anything the prequels kinda ruined which I get, it's just a shame because I feel like one of very few people who wants MORE LIGHTSABERS DAMNIT! Knights of Ren should wield lightsabers. Give us this! It can still work!

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Lightsabers once meant something, they had an aura about them. Not anymore. You might have seen this video but if not it sounds as if you'd love it.

I was pretty hyped on Kylo after the force awakens....

Now I totally could care less about the new trilogy. Sorry to be a downer, but my holy freaking hell the last jedi did my man Luke dirty. I didn't mind what happened to Han.
Episode 9 does not have my hyped at all

Will I see Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker? Probably, at some point. Do I particularly care about Star Wars anymore? No, I do not.
