STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Chinese Poster Teases The Final Fight Between Rey And Kylo Ren

Another amazing poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been released, this time promoting the "Skywalker Saga" finale's Chinese debut. It's an awesome piece of imagery, and can be seen right here.

We're just days away from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and, yes, the hype for the movie is definitely building! We should have reactions and reviews for you soon, but for now, a new Chinese poster has been released which shows the climactic battle between Rey and Kylo Ren as the Emperor's Star Destroyers loom overhead (they could be First Order, but are likely the Empire's based on the trailers).

It's an impressive piece of imagery, and while it's probably not indicative of what we'll see in the film itself, seeing these two come to blows promises to make for a truly epic lightsaber battle!

The Star Wars franchise has never performed particularly well in the Middle Kingdom, but tracking is looking good for The Rise of Skywalker so the fact that this is a grand finale likely isn't lost on that audience. It will definitely be interesting keeping an eye on how the movie performs at the box office, as there's been so much talk of franchise fatigue and The Last Jedi "killing" interest in the series.

Check out the new poster for the movie below and stay tuned for much more on the movie.

I actually appreciate the fact that I have no hype for this. That means I have no expectations

I'll go in tok the theeatre Friday and it'll be like I'm just watching a movie. And perhaps, just perhaps I'll be more than whelmed

OT: I'm obsessed with Jedi: Fallen Order. Every time I get complacent or a little bored with the gameplay, something new comes out of nowhere and pulls me right back in. Best jedi/lightsaber game in yearsss.

Hopefully it's a good duel because we have precisely 0 good lightsaber fights in the entire trilogy so far. Let's hope they don't blow the last chance. This isn't just the last fight of the trilogy, it's the last of the saga.

If this guy doesn't win the trilogy is not canon.

@FleischerSupes - The spoilers are out there most have been confirmed through the trailers and the Sound track leak. I was hoping they would get me excited to see it but after reading them lets just say Star Wars ended in 1983.

@DeathSeal - Yeah for while I was hoping rumors of a Lucas approved cut were true, and maybe the leaks were from a cut that isn't going to be released. But it sounds like its too late for that now.

@FleischerSupes - Yah me too. If the rumors are to be believed, of the 3 main cuts (Kennedy, Lucas, and Igor/JJ) That the Lucas cut was the one most well received but they didn't go with it for some reason. If true it makes me sad they didn't give him the final say in the Franchise.

The fact I'm not that excited for this movie really helps me to relate to the Chinese audience when it comes to Star Wars.

@MrDandy - It is kind of odd that market hasn't warmed to the franchise's latest entries, since at this point Star Wars is void of any of the archetypes of Western culture.
