ALIEN Is Getting The BLACK, WHITE & BLOOD Treatment From Marvel Comics...With A Hint Of Green!

Marvel Comics has confirmed plans (via SFFGazette.com) to explore new depths of terror next February by bringing its popular "Black, White & Red" line into the Alien universe!

Alien: Black, White & Blood will be four issues of unbridled violence with jaw-dropping stories crafted by some of the industry's biggest talents. Previous "Black, White & Red" instalments have spotlighted deadly icons from Wolverine to Darth Vader, and now, it's time for the Xenomorphs to be unleashed in this eye-catching format.

Marvel Comics and 20th Century Studios are teaming up to present this kill-fest of an anthology in chest-rending artistic detail, brought to life in bold, black, white, red - and, when things get extra dangerous - green! (because, as we're sure you'll recall, that's what the Xenomorphs bleed).

Here's a preview of the tales it's said we can look forward to in the debut issue:

• Superstars Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing (Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, Guardians of the Galaxy) and brilliant artist Michael Dowling (Black Cat, Amazing Spider-Man) kick off "Utopia," a generations-spanning saga that will be told across all four issues! Soaring through space to find a perfect world, a society descends into darkness as they’re shaped by their fear of the Xenomorphs!

• Fan-favorite writer Ryan Cady (Winter Guard) and Marvel newcomer Devmalya Pramanik explore the limits of compassion in "Maternal Instincts." On a deep space vessel, a small child is the sole survivor of a Xenomorph slaughter and her only hope for salvation is the ship’s comforting and guiding AI computer unit.

• Rising stars Stephanie Phillips (Capwolf & the Howling Commandos, Cosmic Ghost Rider) and Marcelo Ferreira (Moon Knight: City of the Dead) deliver a tale of guts, glory and the most exhilarating of games in "The Hunt." Xenomorphs become the main attraction when Weyland-Yutani gives wealthy thrill-seekers a chance to hunt down the galaxy’s deadliest species.

This sounds like a solid way to expand the Alien franchise, something we've seen Marvel Comics do a lot in recent years. While the Xenomorphs have shared cover space with familiar superheroes, they've yet to enter the Marvel Universe itself.

However, with Wolverine soon set to clash with the Predator, we're sure it won't be long before these terrifying aliens also menace some of our favourite characters.

God please no…Predator and wolverine can be a fun one off thing but don’t try to “marvelize” the Xenomorphs by turning them into some kind of punching bag. Just leave the alien series to its own thing

Also that cover is sick!

@EZBeast - Marvel just needs to do ideal mashups. Captain Marvel vs. Xenomorphs would be the type of trash you're talking about. But The Punisher vs. Alien would be a great story arc. Maybe make it where the High Evolutionary obtained a face hugger and has managed to successfully breed a Xenomorph and wants to test it against a human who is capable to survival without the need for superpowers and he picks Frank Castle.

I remember reading Superman/Alien and Batman/Predator.

The first one still holds up as great sci-fi tsle.
The 2nd not so much.
