Amazing 3D Futurama art will almost make you say "Shut up...and take.." Forget it.

The last thing fans of Matt Groening's sci-fi comedy want is a 3D film, but you gotta hand it. Some of this art done by an indie artist is just absolutely stunning.

The gif above is the work of a very talented russian artist, Alexey Zakharov, who used 3DMax and Photoshop to create a 3D model of the New York skyline from the show's infamous opening title. I think it is safe to say that this is on par with something Pixar or Dreamworks would do.



Below he also has some magnificent and highly detailed pictures of the Planet Express Delivery Ship.
