Before GLASS Hits Theaters, Check Out The Honest Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan's UNBREAKABLE

Glass is set to break into theaters later this month, and in anticipation, The Screen Junkies guys have released their "Honest Trailer" for the first part of M. Night Shyamalan's trilogy, Unbreakable...

Many consider M Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable to be one of, if not the best superhero movie not based on an existing comic book, so the guys at Screen Junkies had their work cut out nitpicking it for their latest Honest Trailer.

To be fair, they do bring up the fact that some of the dialogue is a bit on the ropy side (it wouldn't be a Shyamalan movie without a couple of howlers, after all) and that the characters... do a lot of staring?

Check out the video below and let us know what you think of Unbreakable in the comments. The review embargo for Glass lifts tomorrow evening, so be sure to check back then to find out what I thought of Shyamalan's trilogy capper.

A security guard, having been the sole survivor of a high-fatality train crash, finds himself at the centre of a mysterious theory that explains his consistent physical good fortune. When news of his survival is made public, a man whose own body is excessively weak tracks him down in an attempt to explain his unique unbreakable nature.

Hahaha, pretty good. Loved the shushing Bruce Willis' going across the screen. But best of all, they gave us "the power of stares" instead of Man of Steel's dubstep, with the Star Trek lens glare music. Awesome!

Can't wait to see Glass, Split was so good. Crazy how Shyamalan went from the laughing stock of Hollywood for years due to career suicide to doing a complete 180 and giving us the final two installments of a really good superhero trilogy.

These Honest Trailers are always better than CinemaSins, to me.

Can’t wait for Glass. Crazy how different Split was from Unbreakable. I’m really looking forward to what’s up M Nights sleeve

Still not early impressions? I'm somewhat scared about this film. I really liked Split and Unbreakable is a classic, but Shyamalan is capable of both the best and the worst. Really hope this case is the second.

This is the sequel you've been waiting for. Glass [frick]ing rocks. Shyamalan finally returns to form, delivers his best film in a long time. It's a complete thrill - get ready for this. That's all I can say for now.

How is Honest Trailers still a thing?? It was barely amusing the first time.

It has got to be up there with CinemaSins as the very worst of YouTube garbage that is churned out for easy clicks from movie fans.

@VisionWitch- Silver Surfer with McKay may be a bit more likely than we heard...

I consider Unbreakable the peak of superhero storytelling. The film kind of changed my life and I didn’t even see it until after Split. Had always heard about it and was recommended it so many times (for obvious reasons) but never knew what I was missing.

I think it’s unabashadly Shyamalans masterpiece (Split may be a close second, it’s also a little brilliant). It’s the type of film you just don’t see very often anymore. (Not in the spotlight, at least)

I hope M. Night keeps his sensibilities with Glass and doesn’t try to “modern” it up too much, because while I enjoyed the first two trailers immensely I can’t help but feel marketing is making it out to be a little too grand, so hopefully that’s not the case and it feels like an actual, integrated bookend to these amazing flicks.

Haha honestly guys this is kind of the runner up in regards to getting that threequel for a trilogy that engaged me to no end, the previous hope being JL. That film broke my heart in ways that BvS did for most of y’all. So here’s hoping Glass can keep up with its predecessors.

Oh and if Unbreakable is the peak of superhero storytelling to me, Spider-Verse might be the peak of CBM storytelling at the moment. That movie is truly special to me.

I tried watching it and couldn’t get through it. Shyamalan’s stuff is just so awkward and soulless to me with the exception of Split. The characters are always so expressionless and bland and I think that’s his attempt at making things seem more serious and dramatic but it just doesn’t work for me. Split was the first movie of his I saw where it seems like the characters actually emote. I might try to rewatch this and go see Glass but the rest of his stuff just seems like he is trying too hard to artificially inject gravitas without actually having the skill to bring nuance into the story and performances

I plan on rewatching this and Split before Glass.
