The main problem I see with this film is that, for people like me who aren't already fans of the novel, it seems like it will be very hard to get audiences excited about this.

Every time people start going over the details of the story, my eyes glaze over and I feel like taking a nap. The more prestigious this project aims to be, the more I feel it will do "Blade Runner 2049" type numbers.
