Tickets for Dune: Part Three are now on sale, and Warner Bros. has released a new teaser and several posters for the final film in Denis Villeneuve's acclaimed saga.

The teaser features a few shots that haven't appeared in previous trailers and TV spots, and primarily focuses on the breakdown in the relationship between Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya).

The ending of Part Two clearly indicated that Chani had lost faith in her leader/lover, and it looks like the former allies will indeed become full-blown enemies in this movie.

This development marks a significant deviation from Frank Herbert's novels, but it is an understandable change, since Chani doesn't really play much of a part in the story after the second book (spoiler: she dies after giving birth to twins, Leto II and Ghanima).

“The years don’t seem to have been kind to anyone on Dune," Zendaya said during CinemaCon earlier this year. "It’s been an ungentle and unkind few years. There’s so much left to fight for.” She continued about Chani, “That youthful outlook is completely gone.”

As for Paul, Chalamet said that his character has now "become his worst vision,” adding that the once noble hero is "an all-powerful emperor of the dark universe” in the threequel.

Set 17 years after the events of Part Two, the movie finds Paul Atreides struggling with his decision to start a holy war that has resulted in over 60 billion deaths across the known universe. As new enemies close in around them, Paul and Chani's relationship is put to the test.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Villeneuve and Brian K. Vaughan, Dune: Part Three is based on the novel Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert and delivers the epic conclusion to Villeneuve’s trilogy. The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Isaach De Bankolé, with Charlotte Rampling, with Anya Taylor-Joy, and Robert Pattinson, and Javier Bardem, and features newcomers Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke.

Dune: Part Three will be released on the 18th December 2026

Neat posters!!.

I have liked these films but haven’t loved them…

I think it’s just due to preference because there is a coldness to these films that fits the tone & world but isn’t entirely my cup of tea.

It will be interesting to watch how casual audiences feel about this given it is based on “Messiah” since that very much puts a period on Paul’s arc being a subversion/deconstruction of the “chosen one” trope and a tragic cautionary tale against charismatic leaders…

It’s an even bleaker story then the previous 2 films which I don’t know will jive very well with mainstream moviegoers to a degree since they tend not to like or be divisive on those type of stories but we’ll see!!.

This movie looks freaking phenomenal. Movie of the year contender for me!

incredibly tempted to buy the 0655AM showing on Friday... but i already have 0920AM tickets to Doomsday. I dont know if i'd get out soon enough to not miss any of Doomsday... ugh! (both movies at the same theater) --- if i did i'd be like....

Hard disagree. The blue scarf is a big tell. I think most folks who've read the books are gonna know what I'm talking about so I'll refrain from spoiling anything for anyone going in blind. Either way, it should be a wild ride.
