Edgar Wright Introduces The Full Theatrical Trailer For THE WORLD'S END

Wright will tackle Ant-Man next, but for now check out the 2nd trailer and a new poster for the final movie in his "three flavors Cornetto trilogy"; a pretty mental looking sci-fi comedy starring and co-written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost..

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

The World’s End also stars Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, and Rosamund Pike and will be released in the UK on 19th July, and in the US on August 23rd.

Ugh, isn't dubstep dead yet?

Also, Simon Pegg likes comics and star wars so that's how it's related to comics.

Lol..well it's Wright (Ant-Man), it's sci-fi (we cover straight up sci-fi occasionally) and the Pegg/geek connection means it's cover-able.

Hellz Yeah. This has potential to be the best of the trilogy. I doubt Wright/Pegg will [frick] this up, they're genius.

No need to justify why this is being reported.
If anybody's foolish enough to take the name of the site too literally and think ONLY things adapted from comics will be reported, they're too immature to be using the site anyways.

There's are jokes you don't get in Hot Fuzz even on the 5th viewing.

Hot Fuzz isn't the one that's stupid...

Overall, Hot Fuzz is a better film. But I like Shaun Of The Dead is a better comedy, I laugh a lot with it. Love both films. Is not just about the jokes, but the moments it provides that sticks in our memories.
:D my favorite comedy franchise.

Dear Charlie,

This is a quick note to let you know that your article
(First still from Edgar Wright's THE WORLD'S END released by Simon Pegg!)
was removed by JoshWilding from the site.

Reason: Not CBM related.

why is it that someone says "how is this comic book related" once every 5 months??? we've gone over this many many many many many times. This website changed the rules as while back and expanded it's coverage. If we were only doing comic book movie stuff, we'd be missing out on 50% of stuff that interests us all. Get with it!

This is the second time CBM has said that Nick Frost co-wrote the script.

He's co-starring, Pegg and Wright wrote the script. Step your game up.
