ENDER'S GAME: Director Gavin Hood Gives An Update

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine director gives fans an update on the upcoming film based on the novel, check it out after the jump.

Offering an update on the film, as well with hinting at the teaser poster reveal scheduled to hit online tomorrow via Yahoo Movies:

"Hello fellow Ender’s Game fans. It’s been four years since I first began writing a screenplay based on the classic novel. I love the book. And I especially love the character of Ender Wiggin."

The director also states that he was drafted into the army at 17. Along with pointing out that the film is now in post production.

"Tomorrow you will get your very first look at the battle room with the reveal of the teaser poster on Yahoo! Movies. For now, enjoy a small tease of Ender’s feet at the gate! I wish I could show you more, but with just over six months to go before our Nov 1 release date, the poster will at least give you a small glimpse of what we are working towards."

We're lucky Matthew Vaughn and company came around with what had to be nothing less than an excellent film(especially considering the ridiculously tight schedule from pre-production to release for a movie of that budget and scope) to be able to BEGIN to forgive the abomination Origins turned out to be.

I wonder how this film will do. Because people were mad that Orson Scott Card was doing a Superman comic. I really hope it does well. Because the book was was an interesting one. I so think it would make for a perfect video game series. I also would enjoy a Pathfinder movie or game too.
