it kinda looks to me like TNT's attempt to rival AMC's The Walking Dead..but i might watch it anyways

The way I look at Falling Skies is that it's sort of what "V" will have to evolve into if it goes for several seasons.

Almost looks like an alien version of the Terminator. I might watch it.

It is just TNT trying to cash in on AMC's idea, but it seems they bit off more than they can chew, the production value will not fly on a network like TNT, i predict cancellation or sale to SyFy within the first half of the season.

This is what makes Walking Dead such a great idea, a full kill zombie just takes good makeup to be believable, and believable zombies are all that is necessary for a zombie franchise to have a chance. When you take on Aliens you need out of this world props, CGI, costumes, and real special effects, if any of it is lacking in this era you are going to get laughed at.

Noah!!? looks kinda of lame alien octopuses ? WTF. The thing I do not understand about alien invasion movies is why wait til now to attack us why not do it a 100 years ago before we had nukes and mass weapons of war ? Now alien and cowboys that shxt looks cool.

I think it is great that TNT is trying to compete with AMC's The Walking Dead. AMC upped the bar and for other networks to try to outdo them = more great shows to watch. This show has the potential to not only kick but, but force ABC to make V more action packed to compete as well. As a viewer, we have nothing to lose and only to gain.

looks like fun. I'll take aliens over zombies anyday. It will go along great with Doctor Who and Torchwood next summer; but ready for V now. Spielberg was involved with Taken and that turned out great so I think this will too.

Looks good and Speilberg attached is impressive plus it gives me something to watch in the Summer, and really enough comparison with The Walking Dead this was in production before that was even aired and became a hit. Why when a show comes out it has to be compared with the last show on TV.

Note can we please stop putting the frackin' tune widget in all the posts tired of having to turn down my browser every time I go to a page.
