Thanks to Daily Mail, we have the first set photos from 20th Century Fox's highly anticipated sequel Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, which is currently filming in Vancouver with Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) behind the camera. Andy Serkis was spotted in a forest filming scenes in a motion-capture suit in his reprisal as Caesar, while other actors in mo-cap were shown. Additionally, (human) stars Jason Clarke and Keri Russell were on set, and you can check out the photos below.















Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Geer and Gary Oldman. The film is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2014.

Still wish they were bringing Franco back. Even for a cameo to bridge the gap. Seems like a lingering plot thread with him being Caesar's connection to humanity. If we aren't going to learn his fate, he'd have been better served being killed in the first film.

I do not understand the absence of James Franco and Freida Pinto Beans. What happened to John Lithgow's character? This films needs connectivity to the human relationships Ceasar formed in the first film.

Ohhhh now I remember Lithgow's character dying. My bad. I only remembered being emotionally moved more by all the apes.
