The first full trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong will be with us this Sunday, but to give fans some idea of what to expect from the highly-anticipated monster mash, Legendary has now released a pair of new TV spots.

They're quite short, but still manage to pack in quite a few teasing glimpses of the iconic beasts along with a shot of Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown, who is set to reprise her role as Madison Russel from 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

The first spot shows the great ape leaping towards 'Zilla with a club in his hand (action figure images appear to confirm that he's fashioned the weapon from one of his enemy's fins), while the second begins with an unknown character saying "Godzilla will come for him," as we see Kong letting a mighty roar into the depths.

"In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever."

Also starring Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick and Brian Tyree Henry, Godzilla Vs. Kong pits the two famous monsters against each other in an epic battle. Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror) wrote the screenplay, with Adam Wingard on board as director.

The movie is set for release in theaters and on HBO Max this March.

A lot of spotlight on Kong. Making me think he is going to probably win

@LameLuka - Man, I hope he does. He's already at a disadvantage having no long range attacks lol. Unless he throws his you know what at him.

@KWilly - well by the looks of it, Kong got that giant axe with what looks to be Godzilla Spine, thus redirecting the atomic beam. Although how many times can he do that before Godzilla catches up to his intensions

I'm thinking it's probably going to follow the BVS template of a 5 minute fight halfway through the film only to team up to fight a larger foe at the end once they discover some maternal link between each other.

@BigMikeReviews - rumors have it they have like 3 fights. The one in the ocean, another one later on and then the big fight in Hong Kong which is like 6 minutes and has no cut aways to the humans. The rest of the action is Skull Island and Mechagodzilla related.

Looks cool, but can we get away from this "ORANGE/BLUE" color thing on posters?

@PC04 - Not until it stops working. Just like purple lighting, it causes a "mood" in most consumers. Totally agree though. At least we don't have embers floating in the air.
