GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS - Epic Final Trailer Features A Jaw-Dropping Battle Between Titans

The Titans have returned to Earth and nothing will ever be the same again. The question is, which one of them will rule? In this final trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, we get some huge clues!

Following the news that Godzilla: King of the Monsters will indeed receive a Chinese release, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have debuted one final trailer for the movie. If you weren't sold on it before then you most definitely will be now, because this looks like this will be everything we hoped the first would be as the iconic beast goes head to head with King Ghidorah.

What's at stake? The entire planet! This trailer makes it clear there can only be one Alpha, and those two will be going head-to-head with the winner gaining the ability to control an entire army of Titans.

That may actually go some way to explaining what leads to Godzilla clashing with King Kong (the next chapter in this franchise), but regardless of how that battle comes about, it's clear that this sequel is shaping up to be an action-packed, fun adventure featuring some truly epic monster battles.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be released on May 31st. Will you be checking it out?

The epic action adventure pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

How the hell is a giant ape going to compete with Godzilla after he kills a flying Cerberus lizard with fire breath?
Kumkani
Kumkani - 4/23/2019, 6:56 AM
@blackandyellow - Because he's King Kong

@blackandyellow - i seriously asked the same question a bit ago , but someone explained Kong is still young i guess..... either way if he gets hit with that radiation breath , his life bar is immediately dropping.

@LordCipher - will be very odd unless they use the cheesy method like in the previous film with kong getting hit with lightening and leveling up for no reason . other than that this fight is extremely one sided

@blackandyellow - Because Kong is an ape with wits and intelligence and will out fight the big lumbering lizard. He's fast and agile and will just dodge G's atomic breath. Don't forget that kong is also freaking strong as hell. He fought and won a battle with several skull crawlers. Besides, I have to believe that kong and G will eventually team up against a greater foe so it doesn't really matter they aren't meant to fight for supremacy. They'll fight once and Godzilla will win, fight a second time and Kong will win (because he learned about G's fighting style from the first battle and will know his weaknesses by then) so they'll both have respect for one another then they'll go on to fight the greater threat whoever that is. Destroyah or Biollante maybe?

Matador - 4/23/2019, 10:05 AM
@JizzerTron - Or a bigger skull[frick]er?
JizzerTron
JizzerTron - 4/23/2019, 10:16 AM
@Matador - I guess that’s possible. Anything’s possible at this point. Legendary could create their own Kaiju or could borrow a Toho character.

knocturnalzen10 - 4/23/2019, 10:21 AM
@JizzerTron - i agree with you in the aspects of Kong's points over G but it just takes one hit from that tail and to be burn with those flames ..... unless kong's skin have different properties, that's radiation and should melt him clean
JizzerTron
JizzerTron - 4/23/2019, 11:32 AM
@knocturnalzen10 - Agreed but obviously this is a movie and in real life kong wouldn't stand a chance. So in order for kong to match up with Godzilla I think Legendary will write kong's character as incredibly resourceful and maybe uses a satellite dish as a shield or something or is just so damn agile that Godzilla cant get off a good atomic breath shot. Maybe kong somehow injures Godzilla's throat and disables his atomic breath to even the playing field a bit. My point is yes on paper kong should be no match for G-man so Legendary will have to invent some quasi-plausible reason why kong who is in essence just a big gorilla can go toe to toe with an atomic-powered giant lizard creature. And like I said I think they will play up kong's savyness as a combatant unless they decide to do something crazy like give kong a nucleur power-up or something like that which I don't love that idea.

@JizzerTron - fair enough good sir . we shall definitely see .... i think they can be creative enough to come up with something decent plausible. hopefully that is an epic fight cause this film looks like it will set the bar high imo

@JizzerTron - When you said "team up" I conjured up an image of Kong riding Godzilla into battle. Which would be awesome.

I'm at work grinning like an idiot. Been waiting 25 years for this movie. After Endgame and Godzilla everything else that comes out after in 2019 is going to feel small and insignificant in comparison.
