The first official stills from Godzilla: King of The Monsters were recently released, and now we have a theatrical banner and some intriguing teaser footage to go along with them.

Both feature Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown, who will play our new human protagonist Madison Russel. Here, we see her attempting to contact Monarch and getting progressively more terrified at the carnage she hears on the other end of the line.

Who could be causing all that mayhem, we wonder?

@LordZero - Seeing how Michael Dougherty of TRICK 'R TREAT and KRAMPUS is writing and directing this one, I'd say there's a fair chance for this one to be better.

And from this footage alone, I already like Millie Bobby Brown as the lead WAY better than Aaron Taylor-Johnson from the first one.

ONE YEAR AFTER 2019...The citizens have finished rebuilding the great city destroyed after the attack from the giant monsters.

What excites me most about this is Michael Dougherty. Krampus and Trick 'r Treat are excellent movies.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the Kaiju Cinematic Universe. I guess it'll be kinda' cool to see King Kong and Godzilla fight, but it isn't something that I'm dying to see.
