"It wasn't the airplanes, it was beauty killed the beast." We weren't sure if this latest King Kong adventure would revisit the classic plot-point of the great ape becoming infatuated with the film's heroine, but this new Kong: Skull Island banner certainly suggests that will be the case. At the very least, the two seem to have some kind of rapport.

Don't expect to be wiping tears away at the end of this movie though, as we already know Kong will live to fight another day when he goes one-on-one with GodzillaKing of Monsters in 2020.

A team of explorers and soldiers travel to an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of monsters, including the mythic Kong.

Starring Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell, Kong: Skull Island is set to be released on March 10th, 2017.

Is this movie connected to the Godzilla movie made a few years ago? I just saw it for the first time the other night and enjoyed it. Future crossover situation?

I think this movie will make money, but won't be a huge blockbuster. In fact it will make more than Godzilla in the US but worldwide it will make less.
