The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Billions star Malin Akerman is in talks to join Rampage, the upcoming action movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This is expected to be the last major role cast for the upcoming video game adaptation and the actress looks set to take on the role of the movie's lead villain.

Apparently, she will be the calculating head of a tech company that is behind the monsters which wind up decimating America. Jake Lacy is playing her brother, while Rampage's incredible ensemble now consists of Naomie Harris, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill.

Based on the popular 1980s video game, Rampage looks set to reteam Dwayne Johnson with San Andreas helmer Brad Peyton, a fun action movie which was a hit at the global box office.
Plot details are also being kept under wraps for the time being, but we do know that it will follow the game by pitting Johnson (described as an animal-loving hero who is the world’s only hope) against three gigantic monsters - a monstrously transformed gorilla, crocodile and wolf - who wreak havoc on American cities and landmarks. It sounds like a lot of fun and should be an enjoyable popcorn movie.

Ryan Engle wrote the original draft of the screenplay, with work contributed by Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal. Adam Sztykiel did the most current revisions, and the movie is set to be released on April 20th, next year. What do you guys think of this latest casting addition?

@Doomsday8888 - Beautiful song played during an incredibly awkward scene. Nice job, Zack.

She is an attractive woman and she seems cool in the few films I've seen her in, this film just sounds fun.
Also Dwayne Johnson always looks like he''s having a good time, has good comic timing and even done Serious roles quite well.

Looking forward to seeing Black Adam.

@SimplyAz - Black Adam and The Flash are my two biggest DCEU movies, that I literally cannot wait for!

I want a scene, where we see Superman fighting a creature, or another villain, and it is really intense, and then after a couple of minutes, we realize it is just Billy's imagination while he is playing with action figures
