New Trailer For BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: BLOOD AND CHROME

The long awaited BSG prequel story is finally getting released as a series of webisodes, which will premiere this Friday, then be followed up at some point by a two-hour cut which will screen on SyFy, and then an ‘unrated’ version is to reach DVD and Blu-ray eventually. See the brand new trailer here..

We have had a read of the full breakdown for the pilot and we know that the series will see a young Bill Adama fighting the good fight in the first Cylon war, where he must escort a young woman who turns out to know some vitally important Cylon secrets. I'm a bit disappointed that everyone's favourite one eyed frakkin skin job Saul Tighe doesn't make an appearance since he and Adama were supposed to have been friends since back in the days of the first Cylon war, but maybe he will pop up as the series progresses. Anyway what's the verdict BSG fans? You liking the look of this so far?

Being a big BSG fan I'm going to check it out regardless but the trailer does leave much to be desired. Guess I'll have to wait for the first webisode to find out.

Webisodes? Granted, I'm glad this is finally happening, but come on. Heaven forbid there be actual scifi on Syfy. Between the reality show, the game shows and the wrestling, this network has joined the ranks of G4 and MTV in losing it's identity in favor of trying to appeal to a wider audience.

I miss the old Friday night original programs. After Eureka was cancelled, I don't think I've watched anything on Syfy since.

I've been a huge BSG fan for years. This looks very good. I'm really looking forward to it. Just wish it was an actual show on SyFy besides the stupid Shark-topus movies.
