PACIFIC RIM Gag Reel Hits

Take a look at a pretty funny gag reel from the upcoming home release of Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim. One thing seems certain from this; the cast had a lot more fun making it than I did watching it! Click on to see the vid..

[frick] off. Fun is relative..I have fun watching well made, acted, entertaining and engrossing movies..not Charlie Day shrieking like some bastard from Hell while everyone spout some of the worst dialogue in the history of cinema.

mantinium, yes princess, I got that...and? It wasn't a manga, it was a live action movie. Homage is fine but the same rules don't apply to both. If you enjoyed it great, glad you were able to look past all the dirge..I wasn't, and I can back up my reasons.

Pacific Rim was hands-down the best movie of the summer. I definity agree with that.
Buying thie BluRay the day it hits.

My freinds and I walked out of that theatre in awe.
My only concern now if how in the hell can Godzilla possibly top Pacific Rim? It just seems like they are releasing Godzilla a year to late. Del Torro beat them to it.

"Homage is fine but the same rules don't apply to both."

Why's that?

I liked Pacific Rim, Iron Man 3, AND Man of Steel. And also Star Trek Into Darkness, The Wolverine, and The Lone Ranger. And some more movies. I have yet to see a movie I hated this year, so either I'm not nearly as picky as all of you, or I've just had good luck.

Gamera623, because one is a CARTOON! ..cartoons are supposed to have cartoon characters in them, movies are not.

No, I hated none of them. PR had its moments (all monster fights), I loved Man Of Steel, and quite enjoyed IM3..despite too much reliance on comedy.

It was ok. It was off for some reason. Elba was fantastic, as was Charlie Day and the guy from Torchwood. But the lead was boring as hell.

It felt like a Del Toro film, but not nearly as good as Hellboy II was.

I doubt I would buy this.

"because one is a CARTOON! ..cartoons are supposed to have cartoon characters in them, movies are not."

Why not?

Im not tryng to be snarky.
Im just saying that if someone says "Lets make an homage to Voltron style Anime and even have cheesy amime style characters in it."
Its rediculus to respond with "Oh no we cant do that if we are to film it live action. Its just not done that way."

I felt this was the best movie of the summer. Action, comedy and suspense; what more do you want in a movie. Special effects were top notch. It deserves a sequel!
