Thanks to Latino Review, who captured what J.J. Abrams had to say while speaking to MTV News during the recent CBS portion of the Television Critics Association panel:
"We met yesterday. We had a big, endless meeting and I think we’ll have something to talk about very soon."
"I think within the next month or so we’ll be able to tell you what’s going on and when and all that. We’re working really hard and this is all to make sure that no one — cast, crew, most the audience – isn’t disappointed by what we do."
The sequel of
Star Trek is currently being written by Bob Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Damon Lindelof, while the original planned release date of June 29, 2012 has just fallen into the hands of
G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
